需要补充一点，若是以我们常用的划分时代的方法，那么，布莱克（1757-1827）已经是近代诗人了。但是英语世界有它的特殊性，因为英语崛起得比较晚，作为英国诗歌之父的乔叟（约1343~1400）已经是十四世纪的人了，所以，如果要简单的古诗的话，怕是不太好找。

泰戈尔呢，是十九世纪末二十世纪初的人，恐怕又太近了。
